Sazerac

Ingredients

• 2 oz Rye Whiskey
• ¼ oz Absinthe
• ¼ oz Simple Syrup
• 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
• 1 slice Lemon (garnish)

Instructions

1. Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discard excess
2. In a mixing glass, muddle sugar with bitters
3. Add rye and ice, stir until well-chilled
4. Strain into the prepared glass (neat)
5. Garnish with lemon peel, expressed and discarded
